Hidden Art Walls and Embossed Ceiling

Hi blog friends. Some of you were asking to see some of my latest work.
So I thought I'd share last weeks work with you.
I have to say this was the hardest week long job I've had in 15 years of faux painting.
This is a guest bathroom where I did hidden art on the walls.
the pictures don't  do it justice.
click on the picture to see it bigger and find the hidden art
 The powder room
 Over the tub
 A little closer look
The killer ceiling. Stenciled leafs ,
then applied three different metallic colors on top.
My entire body hurt , So glad this is behind me.
Now just have to finish the rest of the faux / mural jobs before Christmas......

I don't know how you do it, but obviously there are times that pain is beautiful! Wow, GF! Hugs!

Oh, heavens!! I can imagine how hard some of these spots were to work, the ceiling being one. One layer would be a killer but 3!!!! Is that with some kind of plaster, too? Or did you make it look that way? But it's truly beautiful, Lynn, what a masterpiece. Diane

What a MASTERPIECE you have created in the hidden art walls and embossed ceiling. I bet the homeowner wants to spend all of her waking minutes in these rooms. Beautiful! Love It!

Lynn,
You do amazing work! I have enjoyed doing what little faux painting I have done and I am about ready to do some more. Mine will not be nearly as detailed and ornate as yours and it will take me probably twice as long to do! I love the work you've done! What a gorgeous room!
hugs,
Betsy

I am very intrigued by your power room. I am trying a technique on my bathroom walls as well. Using sparkle crack fill. Just hope it turns out half as good as yours. Love the glaze you used.
