Update on Lynn

Lynn had a appendix explode about 8 days ago,and did not it until Friday morning due to the appendix's location. The appendix had turned gangrene and also got some of her large and small intestine which also had to be removed. She is recovering at St. Lukes Hospital in Meridian, she is under heavy sedation with pain meds, she looks like she's wired for sound with all the IV's in her. Lynn hopes to be home this Friday, and thanks everybody for their concern.
      thank you all   Vic

A Vintage Christmas

A Vintage Christmas
I find these new images from Artistic Outpost
Sleigh Ride are fun and easy to use in altered art. Here I made a Fabric hanging quilt pocket . You can use this as a gift bag or to hold all the Christmas cards you receive.
I pulled out some vintage goodies, lace, old Christmas bulbs, Red Velvet leaves, a hand crochet Christmas bell. and Vintage Christmas hankie.
I did a transfer of the stamped children image on Sheer Heaven
and stamped the text on some muslin.
I'll be adding this to my Etsy shop in the future!
A close up of the transfer.
Some of the vintage Christmas ornaments and lace.

Another little treat I wanted to share. Remember I told you about my BF   Debbie stalking  meeting
Tim the man. Well here's a couple pictures I wanted to share with you.
At the Airport, Debbie had Tim all to herself!!!
The happy couple! I don't know if I've ever seen Debbie smile this much!!!
Here she is at the class she took from Tim the man!
Lucky gal!!!!!!

Tag Tuesday and CCC

Is it just me or are the weeks flying by faster and faster?
I did manage to combine two challenges again this week into one tag. The Kard Krazy challenge about School days and Studio L 3 Masks Basics.
I used The stamp images from Oxford Impressions School Days plate and the mask is one of Tim's.
Speaking of Tim. I got a call from my BF on Friday who is was on her way to the Mall of American for a event sponsored by Archivers. and who did she recognize from the back? Well it was Tim the man himself. She even managed to get a picture of the two of them rubbing elbows. Lucky gal!!! I'm sure she is having the time of her life right now. Maybe she'll even let me post her picture when she returns.
Well off to do a little hopping. I have some catching up to do.

CCC week 13- Grungepaper flowers

Can it be? Were already into week 13 at Studio L 3 and Linda has chosen Grungepaper flowers for this week.  Well with it being #13 I thought Halloween was appropriate so I put together this little box with my flowers. I used stamps from The Artistic Stamper for my flowers. Notice they are embossed with spider webs and yes that's a spider for the center of the larger one. Oh the horror! LOL. Come join in the fun its a SPOOKTACULAR good time!

i also just added more cards to my Etsy if your interested!

Off to Neverland

Oh to be a kid again, well you can by playing with one of the newest plates from
 Artistic Outpost. Neverland.
While I did make the tile book. (which was so much fun) I can't take credit for how it was done. It was created by Penny at A Penny for Your Thoughts. If you go check out her blog she has a great tutorial on  how to do it.

Next is a Domino pendant I did with the same images from the Wonderland Plate
Alcohol inks and some of Tim's fun embellishments.
Now go and play today!
