Faux Friday- Tiny Wine Cellar

Back to share more of my mural work this week.
This was another one of my favorite murals to do, A tiny little wine cellar.
The owner wanted the illusion that it was bigger. That back wall that I painted is
the entire width of the room. About 5 ft.
So I painted a door and stones and made it look like it went into another room.
Its really to bad about the flash back because the floor really looks like it goes back.
The bottle of wine on the left side was the first bottle of wine he ever collected  and he
wanted a special remembrance of it. So I painted it into the background.

The other side of the tiny wine cellar. I was invited to his unveiling with all his friends and let me tell you these people know their wines.

Really wonderful. I saw the coolest movie once about trompe l'oeil painting. I wish I wcould remember the name of it-it made such an impression on me. I have a friend who does this type of painting.

Another amazing mural! I love the door and the surrounding brick. The sign too! All of it looks so real I really thought you were standing in front of another room!

I am happy you started sharing ALL of your art projects on your blog. It's nice to see the other side of you. Very talented.

WOW Lynne no wonders you are behind on your ATC's. Did you know my daughter and I painted murals for years and years. After she had her children it was hard to find the time to do it together so I haven't done any in a few years. This is soooo wonderful BRAVO! I am sure the owner is one proud man!
