Fabric Garden Journal

Do you love to garden? I do when I have the time.

Especially when the sun is shining and things start warming up.

I created this fun Garden journal from vintage fabric,

Lots of lace, vintage velvet leaves and even a nest of sweet eggs.

The fabric transfer was made with an image from Graphics Fairy

Vicki's Valentine Win

Look at the wonderful Valentine win I received from Vicki at

 Rusty Rooster Vintage

She did such a darling job of packaging everything up. She made the sweetest bag with a doily and my initial on it. Some awesome little metal embellishments are in the bag that sits in the sweet tin. It even has one of those pins (the kind we used as kids for our locker when we went swimming). Remember those? 

Check out that # tag. Isn't that the coolest! and the paper fringe and punched hearts. All so sweet.

Something A little different

Have you all heard of Pinterest? If not there's a link on my sidebar,

you must go check it out. An amazing site where everyone shares photos of things that interest them.

It was there where I spotted the most amazing pendants made from Silver clay. Yes it was really silver with the real price that goes with them . One piece of AMAZING jewelry can go for $650.00 to $850.00.

I'm not saying its not worth it, it is REAL silver after all. but on my budget I'd never be able to own one.

SO... I set out trying to create my own version using a differet product.

 More about that later.

 I made this as a Thank You  for my Dear blog friend Tracy

who sent me a wonderful Christmas gift.

Remind me next year to have some Thank You gifts Pre-made. LOL

It has a little faux door and a lock and key.

I got word that she received it already so its o.k to share!

My GF's and I are planning a play day with that silver clay.

I can't wait to give it a try!

I created this Paris pendant for a dear blog friend as a Thank you,

she sent me a wonderful Christmas gift. 

I wanted her to know how much I appreciate her!

 Hopefully she has received it by now.
