Steampunk -A Man Among Boys

Its Thursday and another sample of some Steampunk art for Artistic Outpost using the newest images from the Steampunk plate. I thought the fabric reminded me of the old time hats the conductors wore years ago. I used metallic card stock and ran it through the cuttlebug. Added a clock hand and a piece from an old typewriter for the train gate.

You have such a wonderful imagination to put that embossed cardstock behind him and then actually "make" a gate!!

Hi Lynn -

Love this! And I really like the use of the metallic cardstock with that embossing pattern. It kind of reminds me of the metal plates that are used in city streets to cover basement access.

Boy you really have a wonderful knack for the "SteamPunk" cards &/or artwork. I just love everything you come up with for the same image even. Your work rocks, plain and simple. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
