Steampunk -A Man Among Boys
Its Thursday and another sample of some Steampunk art for Artistic Outpost using the newest images from the Steampunk plate. I thought the fabric reminded me of the old time hats the conductors wore years ago. I used metallic card stock and ran it through the cuttlebug. Added a clock hand and a piece from an old typewriter for the train gate.

Very cool piece Lynn x
What a fantastic piece - love the colours and that gentleman. This style is new to me so I love seeing what you do. Hugs Cherry XXX
You have such a wonderful imagination to put that embossed cardstock behind him and then actually "make" a gate!!
Quite amusing! I'd say a man of character indeed!
Wonderful collage, Lynn! Love that Steampunk!
Hi Lynn -
Love this! And I really like the use of the metallic cardstock with that embossing pattern. It kind of reminds me of the metal plates that are used in city streets to cover basement access.

Lynn, I really like how you have combined the colours and elements on this dandy looking fella!

great project. i got the stamp set a couple of weeks ago. now i need to get them cut out and start using them. using the embossed metallic cardstock is a cool idea. this should inspire me to get moving.
Boy you really have a wonderful knack for the "SteamPunk" cards &/or artwork. I just love everything you come up with for the same image even. Your work rocks, plain and simple. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
Lovin' the look! Using that soft edge and soft color with a great masculine piece is inspired!
Ooh, you KNOW I love this one!!! Well done, Lynn! (As always!)
