Artistic Outpost New Releases

For my little Row of houses I combined both the
Whimsical Melange and Typography stamps
on the little wood shaped cutouts.

Whimsical Melange
Designed as background and embellishment images, this collection features whimsical frames sized perfectly for cards and ATCs as well as unique scrollwork, pennants in two sizes, and other whimsical bits.  Mix and match these stamps with our other collections to add a touch of something special and unique to all your projects.

Typography
From Mark Twain to Winnie the Pooh to Bob Marley, this collection of unique sayings and sentiments includes our favorite quotes from some of our favorite artists and characters. Designed to mix and match with our other stamp collections. Stamp sheet measures 8.5" x 5.5". Stamps are available as an unmounted sheet of red rubber or pre-trimmed and mounted on EZMount cling foam.
Here a little Ruler book with natural wax paper, some mini tags and a Journey tag.
Stamps from A Favorite Book
A Favorite Book
Featuring vintage images of children reading,
this collection provides focal images of something we wish our
kids would do more of....slowing down, being quiet, and enjoying a good book.
Images are designed with our other background collections in mind,
such as Ephemeral Backgrounds and Whimsical Melange.

Royal Birds Tag

I'm back for week two as a guest designer for Layers Of Color
Sharing a tag I made with the Royal Birds stamps.
I started by sponging distress inks over the tag.
Stamped the birds on a manila tag with distress ink,
Brushed over with Perfect Pearls and misted with water to set.
I roughed up and distressed the edges.
Cut an area by the bird wings and tucked the collage image
by Alpha Stamps into the slots. Embellished with gold German scrap,

Art Pages Swap

I was so excited to be asked to play along in an Art page swap
with some of the most amazing artists out there.
Here's the lovely pages that filled my mailbox recently.

First to arrive was Louise's darling page from Kard Krazy
Its full of sparkle and a bit of bling.
She even added a little mirror to see your reflection. Is that clever or what!

Next came Sarah's Artful Creation from Vintage Figments
She made a beautiful rich textural  background
and added the darling envelope that holds an ATC.
Its so much prettier  IRL. my camera stinks...

Pam from  Scrappy Pam Designs  sent me this beauty. Embossed artistic designs
all set on a cool pallet of blues and greens

You may recognize Lori's style from I Been Thinkin Bout Inkin.
She made this awesome Steampunk creation, full of texture and depth.

Here's mine. I must confess I couldn't find mine.
I still can't.... but good thing I took a picture of it when it was finished.
mine has a metal background  and a winged Lion.
This was such a great swap with such
wonderful and talented ladies.
If you get a chance pop by and check out their creative blogs!
