I have the BESTEST friends

Last night I met with my stampin GF's Debbie and Mindi for our little monthly get together. Well they surprised me with a little B-day party. Just look at all the wonderful goodies they had for me, there is stamps, a Cuttlebug plate (one I have been longing for) brads, stickers, ephemera, snowflakes, trees,I could go on and on! and some Gorgeous Atc's for Halloween! They know me so well!!! Then Debbie brought out the most incredible desserts, Imagine chocolate moose in a cup made from dark and white chocolate with berries loaded on top and a chocolate tea cup with mocha moose with a Choc straw. I was in chocolate heaven. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it! I wish I had a picture to share but we gobbled them up too fast! LOL. Thank you my sweet friends.
That's not all, upon leaving Debbie had a box for each of us with these beautiful home grown gourds and white pumpkins. This gal has a green thumb, well when its not covered in distress inks. LOL!! Thank you both for such a special evening!

A Fanciful Twist Halloween party

~ HALLOWEEN ~ Tonight is the night When dead leaves fly
Like witches on switches Across the sky,
When elf and sprite Flit through the night On a moony sheen
Tonight is the night When leaves make a sound
Like a gnome in his home Under the ground,
When spooks and trolls Creep out of holes Mossy and green
Tonight is the night When pumpkins stare Through sheaves and leaves Everywhere,

When ghouls and ghost And goblin host Dance round their queen. It's Halloween!

Metal Etching- Oh What fun!!!

I have been having so much fun with a new technique I just learned. Its Metal etching. Here are a few of the pieces I did. I used the new stamp from Oxford Impressions From the new Halloween plate. Shhh I plan on making special for Suzanne with it. But don't tell its a surprise!!!

This is one I did with the new stamp from Artistic Outpost
The Generations plate. Isnt it cool? I plan on making a jewelry piece with this one.

This is a close up of a piece I did with stamps from I Brake for Stamps

Here's the book I put together using the metal piece and I covered the book with tissue ,added alcohol inks ,and stamped images on tissue using powdered pearls. They don't show well in the picture but really pretty in real life. This is for a very special person I Know!
