Yes I escaped today!! Hubby took me to a couple of Estate sales this AM.
It was so nice to get out for a change. Heres what I found.
Some vintage lace, a pretty slip,vintage clock,
even a pkg of hosiery,the kind with the seam in the back.
Beautiful old Swiss handkerchiefs, some still in the package!
Some black gloves, old velvet ribbon (its so soft)
and a lace scarf like my Grandma used to wear to church every Sunday.

A beautiful box of vintage cards.
An entire box of vintage cards for $1.00,
some still have a price tag on the 2 for 5 cents, WOW
Some borrowed ancestors, love the hardboard frames they were in.
I think she through these in for free!
A vintage tin to hold my goodies and a nice old wood tape measure.
Just a little bling, most was way out of my price range.
All in all it was a lovely morning and we got back way before it got hot.
Now I'm ready for a nap!!

OOOO you did good! I have been looking for one of those fold up rulers. My father had one. He was an interior designer. I didn't think I'd ever want one of those, bur my oh my how people change!

You hit the jackpot today! Somebody probably already said that. Great finds and it's energizing to go to these kinds of sales I think.
what a great find. I will be glad when it cools off here so I can go estate saleing.
I love all of your yard sale finds, so cool! I can't get out of the house much so I am forced to do my "yard sale'ing" on Etsy. You gave me a few more ideas to "search" for. My husband will be so pleased, not!
Looks like a good haul to me. I went out this morning and all I found were a few school clothes for the youngest and 2 rusted door handles (they weren't even pretty) but you know me I can't resist the rust! Have a great weekend!
