Alice In Wonderland- New Release

Who doesn't love a good story with a lot of fantasy and a hint of quirk? Ok, so with Alice in Wonderland, you get more than a hint of quirk, you get a whole load of zany with a hint of logician philosophy.

Artistic Outpost
has pulled together some of the most zany iconic images from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, to bring to you a fun collaged set of Alice-themed stamps.

This collection features unique images including the White Queen and the Dodo characters as well as an ATC sized White Rabbit collage.

This set is available in unmounted sheets and mounted on EZMount cling foam with indexed storage sheet.

We can't wait to see what you create!

Steampunk -A Man Among Boys

Its Thursday and another sample of some Steampunk art for Artistic Outpost using the newest images from the Steampunk plate. I thought the fabric reminded me of the old time hats the conductors wore years ago. I used metallic card stock and ran it through the cuttlebug. Added a clock hand and a piece from an old typewriter for the train gate.

Found Objects- Hold Me Close

Over at Gingersnap Creations today there is a challenge to use found objects. I choose to use a little fuse box tin I had. I painted the tin to look old and rusty added the image and text, covered it with a thin sheet of mica and some brads to hold it in place. The inside has a Madonna image and more text and a vintage cross a dear friend gave me. The beaded chain is from a Rosary. Go check out all the Found Objects today, you never know what you'll find!

Guest Artist for Alpha Stamps

I was so thrilled when Alpha Stamps
contacted me a couple of months ago and asked me to be a guest artist for a special Steampunk Feature. Here's some of the projects I created with some of the goodies they sent me.
A Steampunk Airship constructed from a metal tin with lots of fun collage items, bits of metal, gears and such, I used velum to construct the balloon. O.K. A real balloon would have been much easier but I've never been one to do things the easy way. LOL.
A Fabric Address book. I made fabric transfers with the beautiful Victorian woman image and another from the filigree frame. All stitched together with Love and some vintage lace.

A leather cuff bracelet made with some Victorian Gentleman images that came on one sheet. I added one to each wooden tile and stitched them to the leather. added some brass finding that also came in the stash.
Taking Flight
Here's a close up of one of the jewelry pendants done with their cool Steampunk gentleman images complete with Gas mask. I set several pieces of metal findings into the resin for the perfect Steampunk feel.
How about a Few ATC'S, Alpha Stamps
will be having an ATC swap. You may want to get in on this one. Too cool!

And last but not least a couple more pieces of jewelry.
I hope you enjoyed my Tribute to Steampunk made possible by Alpha Stamps

Added some chicken wire, moss and a copper name plate. I covered the book with Ferro and Tera, It really looks like old rusty metal. I'll be sharing more as my book progresses!
