New Release- French Flight

You know I can't decide if I like playing with lace or rust better!
My Rusty things hanging was inspired by the Newest stamp release from
French Flight
I used an old book cover for the base, rusted up some hardware, wings,
a frame and even some lace. yes you can rust lace!
A french tag from my blog friend Liz and some book pages.
The collage image that doubles as the balloon comes from Alpha Stamps.

French Flight is the newest addition to Artistic Outpost's catalogue of unique vintage inspired stamp
collections.
In the late 1700's , two French brothers, Joseph and Etienne Montgolfier launched the first manned ballon from the from the center of Paris and flew for a period of 20 minutes.  In 1793, Jean Pierre Blanchard became the first to fly a hot air balloon in North America, yet another French adventurer!
This stamp collection pay homage to these adventurers. Fun, quirky, with a little bit of steampunk thrown in for good measure, French Flight is pure creative delight.
Collection available in both unmounted rubber sheets or pre-mounted on EZMount cling foam and hand trimmed on a clear cling storage card!

This is absolutely stunning! I think rust is the most beautiful addition to a vintage looking piece. I love anything that's rusty, if I could I’d have it on everything...

Do you use Rusting Powder or chemicals to rust? I use Rusting Powder and it is amazing as it will rust anything, fabric, lace, metal, you name it.
I love this so much in fact I feel a WOW coming on!!!!
Amazing detail (you always pay close attention to detail) and you created a beautiful "feel" to this piece.
10/10 for this one.

another great project. this is really striking. but don't give up the lace. you do both of them so well. it would be great if you would write a book on the methods you use, along with lots of eye candy provided by your many projects.
