Triptych Gourd- Tribute to My Heritage
I thought it was time to post more of my wildlife art. This is a gourd I did, My heritage is part Indian so I wanted to create a piece that has special meaning to me. I wood burned the Cougar, Wolf and Bear, then painted them with acrylics. I surrounded each with Indian Symbol's. I then wove pine needles along the top of the gourd and finished it off with laced leather and a bear claw and feathers. Its rather large.approximately 16" tall.
