Advent Boxes



I guess I can show these now. I made these advent boxes for two DF of mine. I gave them to them a couple of days ago so they could begin opening them Dec 1st. Of course in each little box is a special wrapped present. You wouldn't believe how hard it was to fill all these spots with things they didn't already have. I so enjoyed making them and the best part is they get to have a surprise every day in December! How fun is that?

    These are just beautifully made and such a wonderful gift for somebody to receive and to open a little box everyday! I don't know how you do it - I am astounded by your creativity!

    Just beautiful, Lynn! Love all the details - obviously presents made with lots of love. I've seen the blank versions of these in stores to decorate - you made them look wonderful!!

    advent boxes are so awesome!! as regards your knitting bug.. do makes these, i have made them in yellow for my daughter.. you will find them on my blog, i couldnt find the lornas laces here(its indeed a lovely wool)so i used what i could find here.. heres the link

    Lynn, these are beautiful. I've wanted to make some kind of advent calendar for years. My kids will all be old by the time I get to it, but you've just shown that doesn't matter. Adults would love it too!
