Blog Follower Giveaway-More Added

I finally had time to put together a few things for my followers Giveaway.

I've added this brass bracelet I made.
Pounded the brass to create texture,
added a vintage brass plate, some filigree brass pieces to the sides.
A sweet little birdcage. ( Thanks Tracy) and a few charms hang from the cage.

With Easter around the corner I thought it would be fun
to  add a set of  string egg ornaments for someones Easter tree.

I keep seeing sweet little sewing pin holders on several blogs
and decided to make one up.
I've included this little baby shoe pincushion and needle holder
as a set ,done in ivories , greens and bits of lace.
For that seamstress that has everything!

Next up a so very soft velvet choker.
The center a Faux tintype and a resin piece I made from a cast.
It sits on a ivory tatting.

A set of note cards made from the newest release Love Notes at
These beautiful images are timeless and so easy to use.
I did this set in a Paris theme with a pretty cover for the notes and envelopes.
I'll also include a few extra surprises. I LOVE surprises don't you?

A fun ring made from a vintage earring in spring colors.
One size fits most. Hand not included! LOL
Just leave a comment.
Of course you  must be a follower.
Make sure I have a way to contact you.
Only one entry per person.
I will use the random # generator to select the winning #'s
 on Sunday March 3rd.
First # drawn gets choice  and so on.

and Good Luck!!!

Steampunk Heart- Round Robin

If you remember a couple of weeks ago I shared my Round Robin cover
 for my book
from the swap at Kindred Souls Art Group
Well this month I had a chance to work on Rhea's book.
Her theme is Steampunk Heart's
CLOCKWORK HEART
This page features Tim Holtz clock die that I rusted.
Image inside is from Graphics 45.
Its hard to tell from the photo but the image was crackled first then I added a layer of
gel medium to tone down the shine. Also added some of Tim's ideology gears.

The text is from Alpha Stamps and the Steampunk heart is a collection of
clock pieces I put together.

THE KEY
The back page heart was embossed on metal painted and sanded back.
Then I added a touch of Perfect Pearls for color.
I punched holes all around the heart and used metal wire to stitch around it.
I again Rusted the key. The word is from Tim's Ransom letters.

You open the heart to reveal "Love is All you need"
some of Tim's gear die cuts ,a clock. Women image cut into heart shape
and a old tintype also cut into a heart shape.
I sure hope she likes it.

I'm entering this in Nancys 14 Hearts challenge

Fabric and Lace

Good Morning my dear blog friends. Its been a busy work week,
so I haven't had much free time to do any blogging.
Today I'm here to share a fabric and lace piece I sent to a sweet friend
who's workplace had a terrible fire. She lost all of her personal art in the fire.
Her new office will be shabby chic so
I wanted to start her off with a little something for her wall.
Just heard from her that it arrived and she Loves it.

This was a special order cuff bracelet I had made some time ago
that just so happened went to the same friend.

Have a lovely weekend.
I'll be catching up with you all soon.

Could you Say No?

Have you ever walked into a store and saw something you had to have?
Only to walk away with regrets?
That's what happened yesterday when I went antiquing with a GF.
I ran across this Gorgeous Vintage Wedding Dress.
Not just an ordinary wedding dress. This one is not from the U.S.
I'm thinking it may have come from the orient or perhaps the Middle East.
It was WAY out of my price range!!!!

I left the store saddened and empty handed.
Driving all the way home I thought how could I ever afford it?
Then it hit me....
What if I were to offer up pieces of it to my blog friends!!!
That way you could share in my find and use it in your art too.
After I got home I told my hubby
and he said you had better go back and get it now. So we did!!!!!

I will sell pieces for $6.00 a square foot with FREE shipping in the U.S.
I will ship out of the country but would need to charge for actual shipping.
You could use it as is or cut out all the gorgeous appliques.
The hours it must have took to put this together... hand stitching all those beads,
sequins and pink flower clusters.
So if your interested shoot me an email to work out payment arrangements.
There is a limited supply so don't wait, its first come
Of course I can sell larger pieces. I won't cut any until an order is placed.
This is a vintage piece so their may be
some small holes in the backing here and there.

Sorry all the lace is now spoken for.
Thank you to all who ordered some and just wait till you see it in person.
Its GORGEOUS!!!!
On another note my Dear friend Debbie.
One of our Designing Divas members made each of the girls
this sweet decorated Chinese take out box.
and inside this Darling altered Cherub in a tin. Isn't she clever.
She used part of a scrabble holder as the base.
Thank You Debbie for your Sweet Valentine
