I have to tell you I have been holding back. I made this crown and doll
last summer and had grand illusions I was going to submit it for possible
publication, Well I still haven't gotten around to it. So when I saw
the challenge on Gingersnap Creations Was crowns I knew it was time to share
my Marie Antoinette Crown I made.
Last summer I had purchased a poor little vintage doll at an estate sale.
Who's legs and arms were broken, Her skirt had been home to a spiders nest. I knew she was in bad need of a makeover.
I striped her down and found a bird cage for her skirt. made her clothes and adorned her with the jewels a proper Queen would wear.
Inside holds a bouquet of the same handmade flowers and a sweet bird making
her skirt a Home sweet Home!
Oh to be a Queen!!!!
Also entering this in the anything but a card challenge at Cheerful Stamp Pad.
OH MY WORD!!! This is GORGEOUS! (sorry for all the yelling) I am in serious love with this.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Lynn, how your imagination runs wild! I'm a queen, but don't have a dress or crown like that one, mine is ah...rather grungy! lol xxoo
