A Special Day

I don't usually post much about our personal life, But today is a very special day. It was my son Josh's birthday. He just turned 26. (WOW) Where have the years gone????
 We took him to dinner this evening to Macaroni Grill, My Dh, my mom and I. Here's a couple of pictures we took.

He has no idea I'm posting these. teeheehee.

This will probably be the last Birthday we get to spend with him, Josh joined the military and will be leaving in a few months. He plans on making it a career. So we will cherish every moment we have together.

    Glad you had a special time with Josh before he leaves! What a colorful career he will have; lots of sacrifices to be made, but it takes a brave, corageous and unselfish person to defend our wonderful liberties. I, for one, am so grateful for all those young people who make up our armed services. I'm sure you are so proud of Josh, Lynn!

    Looks like Josh had a good birthday celebration with good food and a loving family around him.

    I remember the day we took our son to board the bus for basic training (almost 20 yrs. ago)...take lots of tissues with you!
