Lynn had a appendix explode about 8 days ago,and did not it until Friday morning due to the appendix's location. The appendix had turned gangrene and also got some of her large and small intestine which also had to be removed. She is recovering at St. Lukes Hospital in Meridian, she is under heavy sedation with pain meds, she looks like she's wired for sound with all the IV's in her. Lynn hopes to be home this Friday, and thanks everybody for their concern.
thank you all Vic
I hoipe she has a speedy recovery!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I'm so sorry to hear about this! Lynn, I will say some quick prayers and I hope you are home and feeling better soon!
ReplyDeletePS--My mom volunteers at St. Luke's in Meridian--I will ask her to say some prayers, as well!
ReplyDeleteThanks Vic for the update on Lynn!
ReplyDeleteI KNOW many of us have been VERY concerned and puzzled about what HAD happened!
I cannot thank you enough for clarifying WHAT she is dealing with. I guess it just makes Prayers and well-wishes a bit more concise!
You must be worried sick about her and you are a dear to let us all know. I know Lynn has a huge following, given her talents AND her kind and thoughtful nature. I would imagine from YOUR perspective it may be a bit unusual to have people that have never actually met her, come to know her a bit and care for her so! But WE DO!
And so, your updating us IS very important,,,because as obscure as it may seem,,,,,,she's part of OUR family and circle of friends as well!
Oh,,,,,Big Hugs Vic, She's a Dear and we're all thinking of her! When time allows let her know how much she's loved and cared about by her blogger friends! (I for one, may Show up in Kuma ONE day to meet you both and the canine contingency!) Or may coerce Lynn to meet me "in the Middle!"
You are ALL on my mind, in my heart and in my prayers!

Oh, please tell Lynn she's in my prayers. My daughter had her appendix burst when she was about 12. It's a very scary thing. Take care and send her our love.
ReplyDeleteGet better, Lynn.
Linda Cain
Oh wow! I'm so glad that she got it taken care of! Lynn, I hope you're feeling better in no time!!!
ReplyDeleteVic,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this update. Poor Lynn! Thank goodness that they caught this in time before it became even more catastrophic.
The same thing happened to my hubby several years ago - his appendix was also not in the normal spot and while he had some discomfort, even after it ruptured, he was not in a lot of pain. He was to leave for Denmark and I insisted he see the doctor first (I had a gut - no pun intended- that something serious was going on).
Very serious indeed. Tell Lynn
that we are all here, love her and to just take her time...she has a bit of a recovery time ahead of her.
xxoo
