You heard it right! and here's my new baby! Our chickens gave birth to three little ones yesterday, unfortunately two moms fought over them and killed the other two, We rescued this one just in time,
She (I'm hoping shes a she) was really torn up and we didn't know if she would live through the night. I'm happy to say shes doing better at one day old, drinking water and trying to eat. So I guess I'll be hand raising this little one on my own.
Shes so tiny and can't walk yet, loves to sit in my hand.
On another note A couple of Thank yous go out. This one is for Palma (Athera) all the way from Italy.
She sent me this gorgeous tag and card and some fun things to play with.
Thank you so much Palma there Beautiful!!!!
Then I received the ever so delicate Atc from Donna at Brynwood Needleworks. Its all done on fabric even the Ballerinas. and look at that tiny acorn isn't it darling!
It's so Gorgeous!!! Thank you sweet Donna!
Finally posting my fabric patchwork purse. I got together with friends last week and we started these. I finished mine up last night. Thanks Mindi for a great evening and your brilliant idea!
Hope everyone has a Wonderful weekend!

Wow! Lots to comment on here! You will make a wonderful mommy to the little chick! Hopefully she will do well. Beautiful ATC's! And now your purse - I LOVE IT! I made a denim reversible jacket years ago in which the seems were sewn inside out for the frayed look! Awesome purse! You also have a great weekend!
Fabulous post! LOVE LOVE LOVE that patchwork purse - are you going to sell them on etsy or will you give us a link for the directions? This would be a fabulous idea for my family at Christmas as we exchange handmade gifts every year and I'm ALWAYS on the lookout for something new and different. Thanks for sharing and have a terrific weekend!
