FOR BUNS OF STEEL-
Its tag Tuesday at Kard Krazy and Louise has given us the challenge to use metallic in our tags. I used metal tape and ran it thru my cuttlebug ,painted it with gesso ans sanded it. I punched the letters for the text into a scrap, thought it would be appropriate for a metal tag. LOL .Hard to show up in the photo tho.Topped it off with a garter belt clip. heehee
TFL!
Lynn, not only is this really gorgeous (especially the background) but it is also so funny. Not quite as bad as the corsets I remember my poor grandmother squeezing herself into, but almost! Love your tag.
ReplyDeleteThis is excellent, Lynne...what a gorgeous tag. Love the metal tape and putting it through the cuttlebug was such an excellent end result! Love the image :)
ReplyDeleteOh I do love this tag. The backgound is fabulous and the garter if just too perfect.
ReplyDeleteLove how metal looks when embossed -- why don't I ever remember to do that?
ReplyDeleteGreat background for your tag here -- and the image and garter top are just perfect!
Too funny!!! Great use of metallics - very nice!
ReplyDeleteROFL....great 'buns of steel' Lynn! I remember girdles very similar to that one! Your technique is fascinating, too.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is so clever and so funny and so nicely done. I love it!!!
ReplyDeletehubba hubba!!!!
ReplyDeletewhat fun!!!
Buns of steel is right! I am old enough to remember these torture garments (not corsets)and they really did make a person feel as if they were wearing metal armour, so your choice goes well with the metallic theme!!
ReplyDeleteNice one! You are always so creative!!
ReplyDeleteI love it! What a great tag!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, and very creative, Lynn!
ReplyDeleteOMG...I love this tag Lynn! I giggle every time I look at it:)
